Whilst promising to be a fast-paced, WWII action flick in the shorts, "Lucky Strike" is more an unlucky strike out. The story is an incoherent jumble of rough ideas with no meaningful direction. It's unsurprising then that there's a discernible lack of pace with action scenes that fall flat. The only real upside is the acting, which, for the most part, ranges from decent to fair. In summary, if you make an action film, then "focus" on the action. Keep it simple and be aware of who and what you have to work with. In this reviewer's estimation, a basic watch.
